Fronteer Gold completed the sale of its Aurora Energy Resources to Paladin Energy in exchange for 52.1 million common shares of Paladin Energy Ltd. [Source: February 1, 2011 News Release]
Newmont is acquiring Fronteer Gold for C$14.00 cash plus a share in a new company (Pilot Gold). The Morthumberland, Long Canyon and Sandman projects will not be part of Pilot Gold. Status of Zaca is not clear. [Source: February 3, 2011 News Release]
The February 3, 2011 press release shows Fronteer holding 4.2 million ounces Measured + Indicated and 1.7 million Inferred ounces. I am unable to match these ounce counts to the Fronteer NI43-101 reports and related news releases. Therefore this report shows a slightly different number total ounce count and also includes the Zaca project on the California and Nevada boarder.
